Writing a personal statement for college applications can be daunting for most students, so our mentors would like to help! After a short introductory presentation covering general tips for writing college essays, students and mentors will break into small group discussions about sample essays.
Students who have begun writing their own essays are encouraged to submit their college essay drafts to us during registration, or to bring hard copies to the event. Students will have the opportunity to discuss their essay with a mentor.
