Event Description:

Over the next several months, various local libraries in the New Haven area will be hosting groups of Yale scientists presenting relevant and current scientific knowledge in talks specifically oriented to those without formal scientific training or background.
Science in the News is a free, public lecture series given by Yale graduate students that aims to deconstruct complex scientific topics and explain them in a way that is easy to understand. Our goal is to make science fun and accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. We want to provide people with a better understanding of the science underpinning many of the complex issues we hear about in the news every day.
