Event Description: 

Join us for the Science Café for Pathways students & families! Rock star graduate students will tell you about their research while you enjoy snacks, cookies, hot cocoa, and coffee. Talks are only 10 minutes long and geared for a lay audience. This Science Café features talks about extinct worlds that have existed here on earth, how we can keep this earth habitable, and how we can search for exoplanets that we may be able to live on in the far future! Hands-on experiments, demonstration, and prizes will also be included! Following the talks, graduate students will be available to answer questions about science, education, and preparing for college. Hosted by Open Labs.
