Do you use social media to document your life? Do you enjoy sharing your experiences with others? Have you ever thought about how others experience the same spaces you visit in new Haven? Than you have dabbled in Public Humanities! Public Humanities is an exciting way to think about how we can learn through experience. Working with Yale students, you will learn to use mobile phones as documentary tools, while focusing on community engagement through Instagram stories. Our final stories will be shared with the group so we might all see the familiar in new ways!
Workshop open to ALL students in grades 8 – 12. Lecture is open to the public!
