The Jane Matilda Bolin Program at Yale is an academic and cultural enrichment program designed to engage high school students of African descent based on a similar program at Harvard University. Based on Yale’s campus, the Jane Matilda Bolin Program provides students with an opportunity to develop study skills and teamwork as they reflect on readings. The program also works to promote African-American studies, college seminar-style discussions, and study skills. The program will also expose New Haven students to the work of Yale professors and connect them with Yale students. The program will normally meet on Saturday afternoons at Yale University’s campus.
