Green Careers, Woman Leaders

The 6th annual Green Careers, Women Leaders conference offers women, who often do not receive the same encouragement to pursue science and technology paths as men, the chance to meet environmental professionals from a variety of green fields and explore environmental career options and leadership opportunities. Students will learn about environmental science, participate in a field exercise, converse with graduate student mentors, and hear career stories from professionals working in the field. Lunch will be served. GCWL is a one-day conference that provides high school girls an opportunity to meet environmental professionals from various disciplines and backgrounds and exposure to a variety of environmental fields, training in different skill sets, and a space for them to explore future academic and professional goals.     
Free admission. Open to female High School students.
