Community and Teacher Workshop | Race and the Art Museum

Event Description: 

This three-hour workshop examines the concept of race within the context of artworks from the Yale Center for British Art’s collection. Museum educators will lead a lively conversation about the question of museum neutrality and how the Center presents British visual and material culture.
 
K–12 educators, college students, faculty, and members of the New Haven community are all invited to join the workshop. This program is free, but registration is required. Please email ycba.education@yale.edu (link sends e-mail) for more information or to register.
