The Yale University Office of New Haven Affairs cordially invites you to the monthly Community Breakfast on Thursday, May 5th at the Dixwell-Yale Community Learning Center.  Community Breakfasts are held on the first Thursday of the month from September to May.  Breakfasts begin at 8:00am, with the speaking program beginning promptly at 8:15am, and concluding no later than 9:00am.  
This month’s topic will cover Community Alliance for Research and Engagement’s (CARE) New Haven Health Survey findings.  Established in 2007, CARE identifies solutions to New Haven’s health challenges through an approach known as community engaged research. CARE’s research tackles chronic disease by focusing on social, environmental, and behavioral risk factors. 
**Parking will be available for the breakfast in the Lock Street Garage adjacent to the Yale Health Center.  Take a ticket at the entrance of the garage.  Parking is free for the first 90 minutes.  To enter the garage, turn onto Lock Street from Ashmun or Prospect Streets and follow signage.
