Event Time:

Location:
Leet Oliver Memorial Hall See map
12 Hillhouse Ave
New Haven, CT 6511
Event Description:

Sprout is a three-week program held on three consecutive Saturdays by Yale’s Splash teacher team. Classes will be offered in four time blocks. Core classes meet all three weeks of the program and electives meet just once. Choose whichever classes interest you, from a catalog of classes all taught by Yale students! Take a look at last year’s course catalog to get an idea of the types of classes taught at our program.
The three weeks of this program give students a chance to delve deeper into certain topics. As such, attendance at all three weeks of the program is mandatory. If you are unable to attend all program dates, please consider attending Splash, our one day program. We reserve the right to cancel registrations that do not include a full schedule of classes.
In order to offer more class variety, Spring Sprout 2017 will be exclusively for middle school students (grades 7-8). Fall Sprout will be open to high school students. To ensure every Sprout student has access to lunch, lunch is now included in the overall program cost. At $5/week, this brings the base program cost to $45. Students who would like to bring their own lunches may opt out of Sprout-provided lunch during registration. Financial aid is available to all who need it!
Program Registration: Student registration will be open until Tuesday, February 7th at noon. Anyone interested in Sprout at Yale (parents, teachers, community activists, potential students, etc.) can always create an account for our website. Just click here. By making an account, you will receive emails from us regarding our programs.
