Join the Ophthalmology Department and the Yale League of Black Scientists to learn about the eye! This new event is aimed at increasing interest in ophthalmology by African American students through hands-on, engaging learning. Yale Pathways high schoolers will try their hand at eye dissection, practice using the slit lamp machines found at the eye doctor’s office, travel into the eye using virtual reality devices, and more! The Yale League of Black Scientists will host a panel discussion on how to prepare for and transition to college. Lunch will be served. Registration is required.
